Our Plant a Tree Promise
We want to help be on the right side when it comes to making a difference.
We have made a pledge and commitment that for every printer leased through Metro Copiers, we work towards reducing the environmental impact through local tree-planting projects.
Our Promise
Australia is one of the most biologically diverse countries in the world, with a large portion of species endemic to Australia. Preserving this wealth of biodiversity is important for future generations.
The destruction of habitat by human activities, including land clearing, remains the major cause of biodiversity loss in Australia. We believe that everyone can help make a difference no matter how big or small.
Our commitment is for every printer lease, we will sponsor the planting and growth and support of a native, endangered tree.
From harvesting seeds to planting the trees and supporting them in the first few years of their growth, the money donated will all help with regenerating areas in need.

How will we do this?
We work closely with Natura Pacific, a social enterprise company based within Australia, and use the funding to support projects all over Australia.
Connecting Communities: Native Seed Conservation
Since 2016 Natura Pacific and TAFE Queensland have worked together, with a number of supporting partners including Lendlease Communities, to trial an inclusive project that provides certified education to prisoners at local correctional facilities whilst educating school children on conservation and producing tangible outcomes for environmental rehabilitation and community engagement. The Natura Pacific environmental consulting team facilitates native seed harvesting that is delivered to local correctional facilities to be propagated and cared for by prisoners attaining certifications through TAFE Queensland. The Natura Pacific education team then facilitates planting days with schools and community groups to assist conservation efforts across South-East Queensland.
